Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Narbonne Lawyer Committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Armand Adido Avocat Narbonne

My understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is founded on a simple conviction: economic success only truly has meaning when it is accompanied by a genuine commitment to society.

As a committed lawyer and an active member of Rotary International, I have always believed that our responsibilities extend beyond the strict boundaries of our professional activities. They involve deploying our skills, networks and influence in the service of the public good, and developing initiatives that are practical, measurable and sustainable.

The Rotary Club Concert in Support of Our Firefighters

Another huge concert at the Narbonne Arena in tribute to the firefighters of the Aude

On 12 June 2026, the Narbonne Arena hosted a major concert organised in tribute to the firefighters of the Aude, with an exceptional line-up featuring Natasha St-Pier, Chimène Badi, Murray Head, Julien Lieb, Collectif Métissé, Cali, Oria and many other artists.

The evening had a simple but powerful aim: to pay tribute to those who work every day to protect, rescue and support the local community. More than just a night of entertainment, the event was an expression of togetherness, appreciation and solidarity.

It was an occasion filled with warmth and emotion. For me, it was an unforgettable Rotary event, characterised by friendship, commitment and gratitude towards our firefighters.

The concert was also an opportunity to bring together many friends and prominent local figures who share these same values: fellow members of the Bar, my bâtonnier, former bâtonniers and their wives, the Sub-Prefect of Narbonne, elected representatives, the Governor of Rotary District 1700 and his team, as well as many Rotary members and friends and other figures from across the region.

The photographs taken during the reception and in the VIP area capture the collective spirit of the evening. They reflect a conviction that guides my commitment to CSR: social responsibility is about more than principles; it takes on real meaning when it brings people together, creates opportunities for solidarity and makes a tangible contribution to the life of our local community.

The concert on 12 June 2026 will be remembered as a wonderful evening of music, emotion and solidarity, dedicated to those who embody the values of courage, service and commitment every day.

The video from the evening captures the energy of the concert, the enthusiasm of the audience and the tremendous support shown for our firefighters.

Concert with L’Harmonie de Narbonne

It was in this spirit that we organised a concert with the Harmonie de Narbonne orchestra, the proceeds of which funded the donation of two ventilators to the maternity ward of Narbonne Hospital. This project reflects my vision of CSR: identifying a local need, bringing together cultural and economic partners, and turning a civic initiative into a real impact for the community.

Concert organised with Kendji Girac

Similarly, the concert organised with the artist Kendji Girac in support of the firefighters demonstrated how collective action can strengthen solidarity while recognising the commitment of those who protect and serve society.

On January 10th, the Narbonne Arena moved to the rhythm of an exceptional concert in support of the firefighters of Aude, everyday heroes severely affected by the terrible fires that ravaged our department.

“The role of justice is to protect citizens when fear seeks to justify every breach of the law.”

Robert Badinter

My approach to CSR

For me, CSR should not be treated as a communication tool or merely a regulatory requirement; it should form part of an organisation’s culture. It means placing people at the centre of decision-making, supporting local initiatives, promoting culture and health, and building responsible partnerships between businesses, institutions and associations.

As a lawyer, I aim to reflect this vision in my professional practice: promoting meaningful initiatives, encouraging the concrete measurement of social impact, and making corporate responsibility a genuine driver of innovation, sustainable performance and trust.

Finally, I strongly believe that the credibility of any CSR approach depends on the consistency between the values promoted and the actions taken. My voluntary commitments and involvement in community initiatives reflect this belief: a responsible organisation is one that acts, shares and works with others to build a more supportive and sustainable society.
